It’s rare that pictures simply cannot do a place justice, which is the case with Villa Galatea. It’s simply beyond stunning, and the most beautiful, impressive place we’ve ever stayed. We arrived, and were greeted by Elettra who walked us through property. It’s a two-floor property: the floor you enter has three bedrooms, two having doors that open up directly to the sea. Villa Galatea is literally on the beach, and you can hear rolling waves throughout the property. The first floor balcony that overlooks the sea was used for breakfast, mid-day book reading, as well as aperitivo that was made in the downstairs incredibly well-equipped kitchen. Elettra left fresh produce, which were intertwined in many dishes we made throughout our stay. Once you feel things couldn’t get better – we were introduced to the indoor pool. Again – the pictures simply cannot do this justice. If you’ve ever dreamt of having your personal spa, this is it. In terms of location – the property is centrally located within a Tuscan oceanfront town bustling with delicious cuisine and friendly faces. To make things better than perfect (if that’s possible?), we were given a 50 page “things to do” guide of personal recommendations that we found incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for a perfect 5-star oasis on the Tuscan coast (and who isn’t, really?), this is your place. 

Everything! This place was unbelievably wonderful. It exceeded all our expectations, & our expectations were based on the photos which were pretty amazing in themselves. Elettra was a kind, friendly, exceptional hostess. She made us feel very welcome, & our visit stress free. It was a beautiful location right on the water, & the town was lovely.
